Dr. Jake utilizes the latest dental technology here at W Dental - Fresno to provide patients with precise treatment plans and accurate diagnoses. In addition to our digital dental impression and X-ray systems and intraoral camera, our facilities are equipped with a cone beam CT scanner and MRI to help diagnose more complex conditions like TMJ disorder. With a goal of making each of your visits as comfortable and streamlined as possible, our team is pleased to utilize these advanced instruments at each of your visits!

Digital Impressions

Our TRIOS digital camera completely eliminates the need for uncomfortable putty impressions. Instead, our team is able to wave a small wand around your mouth to capture the detailed topography of your oral anatomy, which we can then send off to our laboratory to craft a restoration, prosthetic, or other oral appliances. Not only does this device make dental impressions more accurate, but it’s also more comfortable and convenient for our patients.

Intraoral Camera

There’s only so much detail a naked eye can see, especially when examining the nooks and crannies of the mouth. Dr. Jake doesn’t let any stone go left unturned by utilizing an intraoral camera at routine dental checkups. This device is a small pen-shaped with a camera at the tip of it that our team can maneuver around the mouth to capture live video footage and still images. They can then be displayed on a large chairside monitor or TV, providing you with a visual educational aid on any oral health problems you may face.

Digital X-Rays

Digital dental X-rays are superior to their film counterparts in many respects—one of the largest being safety. This technology emits up to 90% less radiation and functions like a digital camera, making the images captured immediately viewable by Dr. Jake and our team. Using this technology, we can spot impacted wisdom teeth, tooth infections, and other conditions that can impact the overall health of your smile.
